The Bog Bean is a perennial marginal pond plant which produces attractive clusters of small star-shaped white-pink blooms.  When blooming the flowers are covered in soft white bearded hairs. Other common names are buckbean, and marsh trefoil.

Bloom time: April-July
Culture: Grow in marginal shallow water, submerged, in full sun to part shade.  Likes acidic & peaty soils.  Can spread aggressively when not restrained by container planting.
