It is made with all 100% natural, kiln fired, minerals and all inert ingredients; no fertilizers, compost, pesticides, and zero algae-promoting nutrients. This planting media retains oxygen and provides great surface area beneficial nitrifying bacteria to colonize. It will not break down, float or cloud your pond water and is safe for all fish and other aquatic life. Concentrated Aquatic Planting Media has a nuetral pH and allows mixing any ratio of loam to planting media.
