Orders placed online Monday through Friday before 12:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) will typically ship the same business day.
Orders placed online after 12:00pm EST will typically ship the following business day.

Orders totaling $89.00 or more may be eligible for free shipping. Valid only on orders shipped within the 48 contiguous States.
Large, oversized orders, and bulk orders, or orders requiring Motor (LTL) Freight Shipment due to weight, dimensions, distance, or carrier restrictions are excluded from Free Shipping.
Products with an indicated "Fixed Shipping Cost" on product pages do not qualify for free shipping and will be charged the indicated set shipping cost for that item during checkout. If further arrangements need to be made (such as in the case of frieght) the fixed shipping cost will be deducted from the overall cost of shipping the product.
Ground Shipments
Most packages will be shipped by ground carrier (USPS, FedEx) and will typically be delivered in 2-7 business days unless back-ordered or dropshipped directly from the manufacturer. In the event your order is affected by back-ordering or dropshipping we will contact you to discuss delivery options.

Oversized Shipments
Oversized and heavy items that cannot be shipped via FedEx or USPS will be shipped via Motor Freight (LTL) carrier and may incur additional charges. Additional shipping charges will NOT be reflected during checkout.
Freight Delivery, Inspection, & Notation
- After checkout, if your order requires freight shipping a Water X Scapes associate will contact you with a freight shipping quote.
- Once freight shipping is accepted and paid, your order will be loaded onto a truck to be shipped.
- The carrier will contact you 1-2 days prior to schedule a delivery time for your shipment.
Customers must be present to sign for the delivery and INSPECT the shipment before the driver leaves.
- If the customer is not present at the time of delivery a redelivery fee may be charged by the carrier and will be the responsibility of the customer to pay.
- Any reconsigning (change of original address) of shipments and associated fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- Delivery will generally take place curbside at the delivery location. Delivery drivers are not responsible for taking the shipment to customers driveway, property, or into their home.
- Heavy items require proper equipment to move, please ensure you're prepared to unload and move your ordered items as needed.
- Freight deliveries cannot be refused for any reason. Refusals due to customer action or inaction will result in the customer incurring any outbound shipping, return shipping, and redelivery charges.
All damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. The customer is responsible for all replacement expenses if Water X Scapes is not notified within 24 hours.
- You must inspect your shipment for damage or missing items before the driver leaves. All Notations of Damages/Problems/Missing Products must be made on the Delivery Reciept/Bill of Lading before accepting the shipment.
- By default, mark the Bill of Lading at delivery "Subject to Inspection", even if there are no signs of damage or problems.
- Please make notes of the condition the order arrived in.
- Cut open any shrink-wrapped pallets and check the number of peices on the pallet.
- If the driver will not wait for your inspection, you must mark the Bill of Laden "Worn/Damaged Carton-Driver will not allow inspection - Possible Damage" (note this on your copy of the Bill of Laden, and the drivers).
- All damage or problems must be noted on both the customer and the drivers Bill of Laden.
- If you do not inspect your shipment and notice issues after the carrier leaves they will no longer be liable for damages. We cannot process damage or missing item claims if the Bill of Laden is not marked for those issues.
- You may be required to email proof of damage in the form of digital photographs
- Failure to report damages or issues immediately may result in replacement fees charged to the customer for damaged or missing goods; including all shipping costs.
Local Pickup
Water X Scapes is happy to provide an order pickup option for our customers. In most cases orders marked pickup are usually available within an hour to two hours after the order is placed, however customers should recieve an email notification when the order is ready to be picked up.
If you would like to schedule a pick-up time, please indicate the date and time of the planned pickup in the order comments during checkout (or email us at orders@waterxscapes.com).
Orders may be picked up at our Uniontown, Ohio location between 9am and 4:30pm EST. Upon arrival, the main gate MAY be closed. If closed, please use the secondary entrance located just down from the main gate to pick up your order from the beige warehouse.
Live Plants and Animals
Since closing our brick and mortar garden center most live plants and all fish are unavailable for purchase in our online shop with the exception of Water Hyacinth and Hornwort.
Live plants will only be shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays in an attempt to avoid weekend delays in shipments. We do everything we can to ensure plants are safely and securely packaged and will arrive within a reasonable amount of time and in good condition.
Damaged Shipments
If your package appears to be damaged please take pictures for proof and contact us immediately. Incorrect or damaged orders must be submitted within 24 hours.
