Balancing Act is a blend of enzymes and beneficial bacteria formulated to improve water quality and reduce sludge accumulation in ponds, lakes, and other water bodies. By consuming and breaking down organic waste such as fish waste, decaying vegetation, and excess nutrients, Balancing Act helps lower the nutrient load that can contribute to murky water, algae growth, and unpleasant odors. This natural biological process supports a healthier ecosystem and enhances overall water clarity.

Application & Use

Ponds and water bodies are treated by Balancing Act based on surface size, not depth. For best results apply every two weeks when water temperatures are above 55F. Cold water strains are effective in water temperatures as low as 35F.

For Liquid Balancing Act: Liquid Balancing Act can be sprayed over water body surface or applied at specific spots around the pond.  If desired, mix with pond water and apply over broader area.  In the spring, or as an initial treatment, apply 1 gallon per acre every week for 4 weeks.  For maintenance applications, apply 1 gallon per acre every two weeks.  For problem ponds, apply 1 gallon per acre every week until desired results are achieved.

For Water Soluble Packets: In the spring, or for an initial treatment apply 8lbs per surface acre. Apply 4lbs per surface acre every 2 weeks for maintenance. For problem ponds, apply 6lbs per surface acre every two weeks.

Caution: Avoid using copper-based algaecides for 48 hours before applying Pond Basics Balancing Act. Keep out of reach of children.  Safe for fish & aquatic life. Not for human or animal consumption.
