Pond Basics Natural Phosphate Binder

Natural Phosphate Binder is best used in association with Pond Basics Dry Bacteria and Pond Basics Sludge & Muck B-Gone to bind excess phosphates and clear murky water. This product may be applied along with your bi-monthly Pond Basics Bacteria treatment, or on alternating weeks, and can be administered up to twice the prescribed rate. This all natural formulation of 70 trace minerals make this a great non-chemical alternative to aluminum sulfate (ALUM).

Natural Phosphate Binder can be used all season long and helps to buffer the pH of your pond to prevent harmful pH swings that can kill fish and other aquatic life.

APPLICATION:
Directions for Use: Mix with several gallons of pond water to make a slurry, then spread around edges of pond. Multiple treatments per week can be used for murky water. Can be applied up to 2x recommended rates.
Initial Application: Apply 1 oz. (1 scoop) per 500 gallons of pond water, twice per week for the first 2 weeks. 
Maintenance Applications: Apply 1 oz. (1 scoop) per 500 gallons of pond water, every 1-2 weeks. 
For Best Results: Use with Pond Basics Dry Bacteria and the Sludge & Muck B-Gone in alternate weeks, or at the same time as bacteria treatments.
