Atlantic-Oase FilterFalls remove suspended solids, and filter pond water by converting toxic ammonia and nitrites into harmless nitrates while simultaneously helping to aerate the pond.

Biomechanical filter mats prevent debris and solids from passing through the filter and returning to the pond. These filter mats also harbor beneficial bacteria that colonize the materials surfaces in order to feed on nutrients in the water, effectively filtering it. Over time these filter mats need replaced.
