K&H Deluxe Pond De-Icers are perfect pond heating solutions that provide adequate de-icing of a pond in the winter. By keeping surface ice from forming on your water garden you maintain gas exchange throughout the cold months of the year. Thermo-Pond Deluxe De-Icers feature the ability to either float the heater or allow it to submerse to the bottom by removing the float ring. Each De-Icer features a 12 foot power cord enabling flexible placement of the heater in your pond. Thermo-Pond de-icers are thermostatically controlled and will turn on or off as needed based on the temperature of the pond water. The internal thermostat will keep the average water temperature just above freezing and cannot be adjusted for higher temperatures.

WARNING: Deicer must be in water at all times during operation.  Do not operate when heating element is not submerged in water.
