UVinex UVC Systems

The most effective way to clear green water in ponds. UVinex UV Clarifiers install seamlessly into Savio Skimmers and require no special plumbing knowledge. Coated bulb technology does away with fragile glass sleeves and are virtually maintenance free - simply wipe clean with a damp cloth to restore effectiveness.

When properly sized, UVinex UVC Systems can deliver clear water within about 14 days. Keep in mind that string algae on waterfalls, pond walls, or other surfaces won’t be affected, as UV light only targets single-celled algae that pass through the system. A slight green tint may remain if your pond lacks at least 50% plant coverage or isn’t partially shaded.

Flow Rate Information

The minimum flow rate needed is 50% of the total volume of pond per hour. This allows you to increase the effectiveness of your filtration. By utilizing more than one bulb, you can increase the maximum flow rate.

Maximum Flow Rate for two 26-Watt UVinex is 4,500 GPH
