• Vitronic 9W is suited for cleaning the green out of ponds up to 2,500 gallons, 18W for ponds up to 5,000 gallons, and 36W for ponds up to 10,000 gallons.

• UVC bulbs should be changed at regular intervals, ideally in spring before the season starts, to guarantee the full capacity of the UVC output.

TECH TIP: UVC bulbs have a service life of 9,000 hours, about a year of typical use. At that point output drops to a level that is ineffective at controlling green water, so the bulb should be changed. Change bulbs every spring when nutrient levels are at their highest after the winter and other plants are not yet actively growing.
