Algaefix

API Pond Care Algaefix effectively controls green water algae, algae blooms, string algae (Cladophora), and blanketweed (Oedogonium) in ponds that have live plants and fish.  Algaefix is a fast-acting solution to reduce existing algae, control the growth of new algae, and resolves algae problems.  Registered with the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), API Algaefix algae control is designed for use in synthetic-lined ponds and fountains only (not concrete).

Instructions & Dosage

Determine pond water volume and add 1 teaspoon (~5ml) per 50 US gallons of water or 0.25 cup (~60ml) per 600 gallons of water.  Effectively mix treatment into the pond water by adding it near the water pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration system.  Repeat dose every three days until algae subsides.  Dose weekly for reduced pond algae maintenance. Do not overdose.
