Balancing Act is an all-natural blend of non-pathogenic beneficial bacteria and enzymes designed for use in farm, irrigation, retention and golf course lakes and ponds. Balancing Act’s unique blend of bacteria makes it an ideal treatment to reduce odors, ammonia, nitrate, nitrites, organic matter and fish wastes in lakes water year-round. Cold water bacterial species found in Balancing Act’s formula allow this product to be used in water temperatures as low as 35ºF. Proper aeration in the body of water you wish to treat will result in optimal function of this product and supports a more balanced ecosystem. 

APPLICATION:
Directions for Use: Ponds treated with Balancing Act are treated based on surface size, not depth. For best results apply every 2 weeks when water temperatures are above 55ºF.
Cold water strains will have effectiveness in water temperatures as low as 35ºF.
Initial or Spring Applications: Double maintenance dose to jump start the process
For Maintenance Applications: Newer ponds with little “muck” apply 4 lbs. per surface acre every 2 weeks.
For Problem Ponds: Apply 6 lbs. per surface acre every 2 weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: Avoid using copper based algaecides for 48 hours before applying. Packaged in individual 8 oz. (1/2 lb.) water soluble packets.
