Switching to cold weather fish food during late spring and the fall months is important because during these colder periods fish require a highly digestible cool-water diet. This cold weather formula is made with less protein and wheat germ that eases digestion in preparation of winter when feeding ceases.
TIP: Feed your fish cold weather food when water temperatures are between 50 and 70 degrees fahrenheit. Stop feeding when water temperatures are below 50 degrees fahrenheit.
