Pond Basics Fall & Spring Pond Treatment is designed to help break down leaves, debris, and other organic material that can accumulate in ponds during seasonal transitions. By supporting the natural decomposition process, this treatment helps maintain a cleaner, healthier aquatic environment for fish, plants, and other pond life.

This formula is especially useful in the fall, when leaves and plant matter often blow into the pond and settle to the bottom. It is made with a proprietary blend of cold-water bacteria cultures that remain active in cooler conditions, helping reduce organic buildup when many warm-season biological treatments become less effective. The non-toxic, non-pathogenic formula is safe for fish, aquatic plants, pets, and wildlife when used as directed.

Application

Apply monthly. Use the chart below to determine application rate. Based on the pond's size, mix Fall & Spring Pond Treatment with water and disperse around the pond. For best results, use alongside Pond Basics Pond Starter Dry Bacteria.

As an example to treat an 800 gallon pond for the fall: Mix 8 ounces of Fall & Spring Pond treatment with water and add it to the pond in October. Repeat the process again in November for the second application.

As an example to treat a 2,500 gallon pond for the spring: Mix 32 ounces of Fall & Spring Pond treatment with water and add it the pond in March.  In April, mix 16 ounces with water and add it for the second application.
