Shubunkins
Shubunkin are goldfish that originated in Japan by cross breeding Standard Goldfish with Calico Telescope Eye and Comet Goldfish. They are single-tailed, hardy fish with calico patterning. Shubunkin are considered adults when they mature around 1 to 2 years and can live 10 to 15 years if properly cared for. Coloring of the fish includes patches of red, black, grey, blue, and white and vary in speckles and patterns. Blue is a prized and favored coloring feature.
